RED WINGS PITCHER BRIAN DUENSING NAMED TO USA OLYMPIC TEAM

Red Wings pitcher Brian Duensing will play for Team USA in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. On Sunday night July 27, Brian received his Team USA jersey in a special pregame ceremony before leaving the Wings for Team USA.

Team USA plays Canada in four exhibition games Aug. 1-4, with their first Olympic contest on Aug. 13 against Korea at the Wukesong Baseball Complex. Former Red Wings Jeremy Cummings and Terry Tiffee are also on the squad.
